Structured Light
January 2010 – Relief prints made with a D.I.Y. structured-light 3D-scanner. In each portrait, the X,Y & Z coordinates are processed and visualised differently. Thomas: Coordinates close to each other are connected by a line. Ralf: Isopleths are used, grouping co-ordinates by Z values. Nikki: Using a conical drill, holes of different diameters were made. All portraits are CAD-milled in obomodulan and printed at Plaatsmaken, Arnhem (NL).
